Melt Flow Index Tester digunakan untuk menguji flowability polimer termoplastik di bawah suhu tinggi, seperti polietilen, polipropilena, pom, resin ABS, polikarbonat, fluor nilon dan polimer plastik lainnya. Metode kontrol suhu otomatis mesin tiga jenis cara pengosolan, manual, waktu dan kontrol otomatis sesuai dengan metode operasi, yang dapat mewujudkan melt-mass flow rate (MFR) dan melt-volume flow rate (MVR) dua metode pengujian.
