Penguji gesekan empat bola MR-S10B berbentuk gesekan geser. Di bawah kondisi tekanan kontak titik yang sangat tinggi, ini terutama digunakan untuk membedakan sifat pelumas dengan tekanan ekstrim rendah, sedang dan tinggi, termasuk beban non-seizing maksimum PB , beban sintering PD , nilai keausan komprehensif ZMZ dan tiga indikator lainnya. Mesin ini juga dapat digunakan untuk uji kinerja pelumas anti-aus. Jika aksesori khusus digunakan, ia juga dapat melakukan uji keausan permukaan akhir untuk menentukan koefisien gesekan pasangan gesekan.
