Model PY9000D adalah transmitter tekanan diferensial yang menggunakan sensor cantilever keramik. Defleksi pada cantilever keramik yang disebabkan oleh tekanan diferensial dideteksi sebagai perubahan hambatan listrik, yang kemudian dikonversi menjadi sinyal arus yang sebanding bahkan dengan tekanan diferensial yang sangat kecil. Tekanan diferensial yang terdeteksi kemudian ditransmisikan sebagai sinyal 4–20 mA DC.
Model PY9000D digunakan untuk pengukuran dan pengendalian tekanan ruangan, tekanan statis duct, dan lain-lain, pada clean room maupun aplikasi tata udara (air conditioning) umum.
